Witness Consciousness Meditation
Discover the awareness that observes all experience
Choose Duration
Instructions
Find a comfortable position and close your eyes. Allow your body to be still.
Notice whatever is arising in your experience right now. Perhaps thoughts, sensations, sounds, emotions.
Now, instead of focusing on what you're experiencing, turn attention to that which is experiencing. Who or what is aware of all this?
Observe thoughts as they arise and pass. Notice: you are not the thoughts. You are the awareness in which thoughts appear.
Feel sensations in the body. Notice: you are not the sensations. You are the awareness in which sensations arise.
If emotions are present, observe them. Notice: you are not the emotions. You are the awareness that knows emotions.
This awareness has no location, no shape, no age. It is simply here, awake, witnessing.
Rest as this awareness. Let experience flow through without grasping or pushing away. You are the unchanging witness of a changing world.
Everything changes. Awareness remains.
